When trying to understand our process more thoroughly we often think in terms of the central tendency, spread and shape of the output. These are helpful and allow us to deepen our understanding of our process. However, we also need to consider how the process output varies over time. This module shows how to assess the stability of our process output thus allowing us to determine the predictability of our process. A stability analysis can provide valuable insights into potential improvement areas. It is also an important forerunner to conducting a capability analysis. This module provides a focus on control charts.
