Capability analysis enables Lean Six Sigma practitioners and teams to assess the current performance of their process with respect to the customer needs. This module uses Minitab to conduct capability analysis on raw process data. It also discusses the impact of using subgroups to provide further insights into the underlying process. More advanced techniques for identifying a common probability distribution and analyzing data, when the assumption of normality is not appropriate, are also introduced.
