The Enhance International Group developed the Resilient Enterprise Operating Model in 2019 in response to companies’ continued internalization and the failure to move from “command and control” to “people first” empowerment. There are many different types of operational program approaches (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Design for Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints, Systems Thinking, Agile, Change Management, Right-Sizing, Balanced Scorecard, Hoshin Kanri, GE Workout™).
Time and effort is sometimes spent on positioning an approach focused on technology and tools instead of developing a culturally aligned business plan. We believe that alignment most be created through leadership (at all levels) to empower the employees to perform to the best of their abilities. Therefore, people (talent management), process (digitally visible), data (trusted) Technology (enabling) are required to establish a RESILIENT ENTERPRISE.
EIG believes that there four tenents that must be met to build momentum towards establishing a Resilient Enterprise: People, Process, Data and Technology (PPDT) – in this order.
