Leila Rao is a pioneer in the advancement of Lean-Agile principles for transforming an organization’s enterprises. For more than fifteen years, Leila has been guiding organizations through Agile transformations and organizational change efforts. Leila’s specialty is combining principles from multiple disciplines, such as design thinking and Lean Six Sigma, along with Agile principles to create customized solutions that amplify value and deliver alignment between business activities and strategic organizational outcomes.
She leverages the value of experiential learning simulations, including a wide range of games and activities, to help deliver “aha” moments which in turn make transformations more sustainable.
Leila is the creator of the Compass for Agility framework, and the author of the book with the same title. The book explores the multi-disciplinary approach that enables organizations to shape their own compass as they aim to adapt, innovate and thrive in challenging environments. Additionally, she is now applying the same expertise and her own experiences to increase the value and visibility of women through self-organization, collective empowerment and structural realignment as the co-founder of Lean In Agile.
